Abstract

This project required a new logo and website to kickstart the online presence for Portland-based publication house University of Hell Press. When the publication approached me for a redesign, I knew that a great logo would have a huge impact on a simple site. The horns logo was then used in all their branding material including their book packaging. The website is live, but no longer managed by me.

  • Help users understand whether their internet speed was directly related to Netflix or not
  • Decide between a non-branded and branded visual design.

Design Objectives

  • The outline of the horns was redrawn several times over to obtain a balance of sharpness and boldness
  • Matched with clean lines and simple assets, the logo had a modern appeal without looking too sinister
